Entities extending !ManufacturerSpec

Elements like objective, detector extend the entity ManufacturerSpec in the model.
The entity has a

  • serial number
  • lot number

Currently in DB, some entities have either Lot number or Serial number but not both.
Clients should support both.

However, BioFormats does not populate SerialNumber and LotNumber for any objects in OMERO DB as far as I can tell. When the attached file is edited to add both attributes to Filter, Objective etc, the database only has LotNumber (for filter) or SerialNumber (for Objective).
Need to have these fields populated to allow testing the clients.

The updated file imported into OMERO displays Lot and Serial numbers for Lasers and Filters in web.

In Insight, Filters display the Lot number for both fields and Lasers display Lot Number: None.
