The general feedback was positive but the user was keen on being able to use the legacy of the features/workflow of the previous importer.

Summary of points discussed:

• Change for tooltip information on the two import icon.
  • The label - imported the selected files or folders and the consistency between the two icons. #4750

• The desired consistency/inconsistencies of the working between the the two import icons. i.e The top icon is still clickable when a group selection is made in the hierarchy tree view. #4750

• A legacy feature highlighted was with how two applications the ability to view what you already had in insight. When the import is started you are not able to look back on the existing data that you have.
  • Make the chooser not modal.

Import file chooser panel

• When an image selected in hierarchy viewer it will by default use the project/dataset this image is in within the import panel. #4750

• Suggestion of change of wording. Imported to / Instead of Imported in #4751

• The ability to see how much space is left on the server. This is valuable information before starting an import. The further warning of space not available for the import is having also before been a requested feature. #4752
  • Information already available in another location. Such concept will have much more utility when we have quota per user

• Change label contain to Project Datasets.

This is in the file chooser window in the right hand box of files to import. #4766

• The ability to use the folder containing a selected image as dataset i.e. folder as dataset available for images. #4753

Imports window

• An indication to the number of complete imported images and the remaining images.

i.e This was highlighted to be similar to existing planes 20/100 in the import's window. #4754

• A confirmation box for cancel. As this cancels all the imports loaded in all the tabs. #4768

• Problem with action of double-click in the activities list. The blue gives the impression of a web link and so does not covey that a double-click is required. #4755

• The use for closing the tab. It needs to be clarified if this be able to cancel the import. Alternatively, that the close tab option is active only when the import has completed.
  • Until we have more feedback, close option will be active only when the import is completed

Activities box

• The Importer removes/hides the activities box. The activities box is very useful and so hiding it is problematic.
  • As soon as we open a new window this will happen e.g. new image. Always possible to bring back the activities window from menu.

On completion of import

• A suggestion of the refresh icon to try over the image. #4767

This was an alternative to using the green ball icon over the image on the completion of the import.
