Comment: Drawing of plate thumbs in browser-- loading always halts with last row and seems to stall for several seconds. Am pretty sure this is true for all plates. Is this a screen redraw? Can we eliminate it?

Reviewing the amount of thumbnails loaded each time before resetting the thumbnail service.
