Bug: Delete right-click menu requires selecting twice

Description
In the tree on the left hand panel you must select "Delete" twice from the right-click menu. Once which triggers the "Delete permanently selected object? You will NOT be able to access this object any more." alert box and then once again with the still visible right-click menu to actually perform the delete.
