Description

After a restart this morning, the 404 at http://localhost was missing from IIS. This was the first time I tried using iisreset from the command-line. A GUI restart also did not correct the situation.

This seems to only be on the local system (i.e. only via http://localhost) which may be some peculiarity to IIS. Chris, if you know of a way we could work around that, it might be worth including in the omero_web_iis.py script, so people don't write and say, "it's not working". Otherwise, we can just document it.

  • Resolution set to worksforme
  • Sprint set to 2011-06-16 (14)
  • Status changed from new to closed

This can happen periodically. Restarting seems to fix it.
