Bug: web reset-settings on IE8

Description
The "reset" button on web image viewer rendering settings dialog displays the confirm dialog, but clicking OK or Cancel has no effect on IE8.
Have to close the image viewer window since it is 'frozen'.

Can't test this now - Need to VPN to gre-mporter. But maybe someone could test it there for me? Scott? Many thanks!

Tested again and works as expected, however I have seen the following problem with saving the rendering settings reported in #6588.

This works for me on xp machine with IE8
