Metadata from current samples is now parsed thoroughly, which is sufficient to close this ticket.
Some testing/polishing may still be required as we obtain more samples.

Right now, just the pixel data is read. The structures are in place for
doing thorough metadata parsing, but it still needs to be finished.

The 'Experiment' node still needs to be mapped, and some extra testing
needs to be done. The final step is then to do the tag/attachment
parsing, as that is where stage position and timestamp information is
stored.

Good progress made so far. Pixels can be read for existing samples; remaining work to be done is entirely metadata parsing and verification.
