Description
The DemoVM is aimed at providing a self-contained VM for demonstration purposes that includes the GUI client tools. This could be implemented in terms of a LiveCD rather than a virtual appliance. Users should be able to boot the DemoVM and once logged in will be presented with a pre-prepared desktop, incorporating OMERO branding & livery, with all GUI clients pre-installed and ready-to-run.
This is distinct from the OMERO.server Virtual Appliance which is CLI only and installs sufficient software to get a bare metal OMERO.server instance up & running.
