A training session has been scheduled to provide the lecturer with a basic overview to getting started with OMERO and for the administrative role, he will need to operate for managing his teaching groups.

Feedback

The general comments and feedback covered how the students would be viewing the images. The
point was made that for the early use of the viewer that it shall need to look and be as simple as possible.
This is not to say such functionality would not be useful in the future, but the current requirement
is to provide the students with a simplified view with the aim that that can pick it up to use as easy

This list of options below discussed to be unnecessary:

• Viewing options of max intensity and split channel
• Line plot
• Rendering details
• Image information
• Image Link

This leaves the viewer with the options of:

• Zoom
• ROI's

• The additional piece of information that he would wished to be displayed is the file name on the top on the image

viewer. The label currently displayed here is - full viewer.

• A further requirement was made to make the image description and comments on the image viewable in the image viewer.
