When working directly on the OMERO server machine, a passwordless login would be useful for cron-jobs, etc. (See end of thread This would work similar to bin/omero login but take connection info for the session manager:
bin/omero admin login --locator=Ice.Default.Locator=IceGrid/Locator:tcp -h 127.0.0.1 -p 4061
(though this information is stored in etc/*.cfg. Note this is how Processor-0 et al. find the SessionManagerI in order to call create, via getInternalServiceFactory.
At the same time a --quiet option could be added, and the cleanse statement could be made to print out "success" unless --quiet is set)
