The method to acquire an omero.model.GatewayPrx? has already been marked deprecated (b50bcdd6 et al.) I'm moving this to a documentation ticket so that we go through all our resources and for now at least reduce it's visibility, and that we clearly mark it as deprecated in the release notes.
We will likely want a carry on ticket that actually does the deprecation in an upcoming version.
