Current hack is not production-ready.
Look at other options.
At the very least, make the user & password into configuration options.

Since the username and password are now configurable, http://github.com/will-moore/openmicroscopy/commit/7071186 and the logic seems to be working fine, a more permanent solution is less urgent.

We now have options to configure public login, both in emdb branch and now in the 4.4 release.
