Given the ticket #2929 and #4636 for the review of the image the web image viewer.
There are some example proposals that could be considered for the revision of the layout attached.
The underlying issue that the layout need to address is the grouping of the same functionality.
- The Standard layout as used in insight, although the obvious constraints between the platforms must be recognised.
- 2 ) We could also consider more web based layouts in for conforming to more general expectations for working on the web. Pisca has been taken as an initial online example but provides a similar layout we might also consider. (A generic wireframe to cover the layout of the site is attached)
- 3) Alternatively a tool closer to the web client (zoomify enterprise viewer
http://www.zoomify.co/enterprise.htm) where the grouped panel information can be moved hidden and moved over the image where applicable - i.e. for the ruler tool. (Two example screenshots are attached)
