The ICSReader is the largest (in bytes) reader in the SCIFIO core. It was chosen for its potential complexity in translation to demonstrate how the remaining Bio-Formats components can be translated to SCIFIO, and to verify that complicated readers can be easily translated to SCIFIO. After translation, the original Reader and Writer methods will be marked deprecated, delegating to SCIFIO.
