There are, fundamentally, two sets of components within SCIFIO that define the OME schema - OME-XML and OME-TIFF. In classic Bio-Formats, these readers and writers were part of the complete Bio-Formats package. In SCIFIO, with the reversal in dependency between SCIFIO and OME-XML, the components (checker, parser, reader, writer, translator to core) for these two packages can be moved to their own component as a schema-defining add-on to SCIFIO.
This ticket is for the OME-TIFF components.
