Remove OMERO-trunk-qa-builds

Reported by: szwells Owned by: jamoore
Priority: major Milestone: OMERO-4.4
Component: Deployment Version: n.a.
Keywords: n.a. Cc: cxallan, jburel, atarkowska, jamoore
Resources: n.a. Referenced By: n.a.
References: n.a. Remaining Time: 0.0d
Sprint: 2012-03-27 (11)

Description (last modified by jmoore)

Now that OMERO-trunk builds the clients, there's no reason for an extra build to copy the insight zips together with the server zips. Further, merge-green and merge-blue are acting more and more like our QA builds. trunk-qa-build should be removed and all of its dependencies should point at OMERO-trunk (or merge-green/merge-blue if they need to be updated more frequently).

Any objections?

Simon: I think this would require changing all of these URLs

@41-43-porting ~/git/docs/install/VM $ grep qa *
README.txt:		DL_LOC="http://hudson.openmicroscopy.org.uk/job/OMERO-trunk-qa-builds/lastSuccessfulBuild/artifact/"
setup_omero.sh:    	URL=`wget -q -O- "http://hudson.openmicroscopy.org.uk/job/OMERO-trunk-qa-builds/lastSuccessfulBuild/api/xml?xpath=/freeStyleBuild/url/text()"`
setup_omero.sh:    	FILE=`wget -q -O- "http://hudson.openmicroscopy.org.uk/job/OMERO-trunk-qa-builds/lastSuccessfulBuild/api/xml?xpath=//relativePath[contains(.,'server')]/text()"`
setup_omero.sh:        DL_LOC="http://hudson.openmicroscopy.org.uk/job/OMERO-trunk-qa-builds/lastSuccessfulBuild/artifact/"

Should this happen on your vm-backlog branch?

My vm-backlog is probably the best place as I have a number of fixes for older tickets and can do all the testing together. Unless you can think of a good reason otherwise?

I'm certainly fine with it. You might ask around the office. Passing off.

For the record, checked with Ola & she is no longer using OMERO-trunk-qa-builds. Nobody else in the office seemed bothered.
