Importer install error on OS X

Description

Installing Beta-2.1 over an already installed Beta-2.0 on OSX gives some sort of strange conflict where the Beta-2.1 application cannot connect to the server. This ONLY happens in Beta-2.1 is installed over Beta 2.0. A separately installed Beta-2.0 importer connect just fine, and a Beta-2.1 package downloaded onto the desktop also works fine.
