Happy medium: returning a list of "date folders" as defined in the template
e.g. a method getDate() will return [2012/04/06, 2012/05/02]
so we can build smart folders, from there the images will be retrieved querying the DB.
With that approach, we do not need to introduce the group in the path. The query to retrieve images will take care of the group information.
