Description
When the action of copy > paste between plates on the web client the well is shown in the left hand column. See screenshot attached. Tested on IE8
When testing the same issue on Firefox the field drop down menu is shown in the left hand column, and then when clicking on the plate to view the wells the icon in the tree goes into a wheel of death against the pasted screen.

I didn't reproduce exactly the bug you see, but paste and remove are not quite working as expected for plates.
- Paste didn't remove plate from orphan
- Can't 'remove' plate from screen

I can't find any issues with copy, paste or remove of Plates now.
Scott - can you see if you can reproduce any errors now?
