Permit group-read downgrade even if viewed images

Reported by: jamoore Owned by: mtbcarroll

Description

Previously, adding rdefs and thumbnails to an image (i.e. viewing the image) was only possible in a collaborative group (i.e. not read-only). The changes for #8562 should make viewing images even in a read-only possible, and therefore, we must also guarantee that it is possible to remove the group-read permissions even if a group member has viewed an image. (This may require deleting the rdefs and thumbnails, or perhaps they can be silently ignored).
