Bug: Acquisition tab is empty until filled with metadata

Description
It took some time (many seconds) for anything to appear in the acquisition tab, leading me to think it was non-functional or that there was no info for the image. Only much later did any information appear. Maybe useful to have "Original metadata" etc. as non-expandable placeholders, perhaps with some indicator that they are being filled, rather than just a blank pane.
