Bug: Running scripts on other users images does not create result file

Description
user-6, running scripts on user-5 images in read-annotate-1 group. Used combine and offset scripts. Scripts run and complete without error. However, new image is not shown; not in any dataset, or orphaned. If I specify a new dataset to put the image in, this is created, but without any image being created inside it. Also, when I clicked on the "show image" in the completion message, it shows the image, but this image does not appear to be linked to any dataset.
Logged in as user-6.
Changed to read-annotate-1/user-5
Using dataset ProjectB_4/ImagesToBeAnnotated4. Selected files 349 and 335.
Ran combine images script using default settings.
Script completed successfully, but result combinedImages image not linked into the dataset.

Retested, logged in as user-6, changed to read-annotate-1/user-5
Using dataset ProjectB_4/ImagesToBeAnnotated4, selected files 349 and 335.
Ran channel offsets script using default settings.
- with empty dataset. Script finishes, create two images and ca not attach them. Images can be viewed in orphans of read-annotate-1/user-6. This is an expected behaviour since client does not allow to link data if not owner in 4.4 (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1y3_7EvvVjuWC7bTfQallDbPT3RVmI_XNtWpjZFYmcjo/edit)
- with non-empty dataset. Script finishes, creates 1 dataset with two images. Dataset can be viewed under Web with number of images (2) next to it. But newly created images do not appear in panel when clicking on dataset. Same images can be viewed inside dataset using Insight (OMERO.insight-4.3.3-3124-4994c4f-ice33-b94-mac) however.

Sorry, but what's the next step here? Is this just a limitation for the moment?

Problem reported above is associated with the creation of a dataset (with images) under someone else's project in a read-annotate group.
I think next step should be:
- either to fix the image viewing problem under Web
- or to prevent such a scenario in the script directly

Since we not allow that in the clients, it is saver not to implement in our own scripts. This goes back to an earlier discussion about permissions.
