– External structured database with like number of cells 
– Possible issues for system administration. Unwieldy. 
– Data mining attachments 
– Hierarchical data format as solution 
– Like a filesystem in a single file 
– Image pyramids for viewing subresolutions 
– Way to store data results? 
– Way to export image/annotations in single file?
