Description
– disassociate the two? how? – “Workflow” file? QuantificationProtocol? – Usability team: – Are they separate because there was never a structure to combine them? – What the user wants to do? What the institute wants to do? – What's the effect on querying? Linked together – We can't do that. Must get active. – If annotations aren't the solution, what is it?

Need a parameter:value annotation for storing treatment metadata
E.g. Drug-X concentration (nM): 50
E.g. Antibody stain: Anti-INCENP
and analysis / manual results
E.g. Mitosis duration (mins): 30
Discussed with users at elmi-2009.
Want to store values for each well of SPW and be able to export and plot graph.
Editor could create and edit these annotations, while still saving Experiments as XML, or Editor could use a db to store Protocols and Experiments as Steps, Parameters etc..(much harder!).
