Bug: Web start does not work when forced over HTTPS

Description

When web start is forced over HTTPS via redirects to URIs with an http:// scheme, startup fails with the following or similar:

Error: Could not parse launch file. Error at line 5.

Furthermore, the reference to Oracle's web start JavaScript (deployJava.js) also does not conform to the page's URI scheme causing mixed secure/insecure content warnings from at least Google Chrome and potentially other web browsers.
