Windows 7 - IE Web client. Logged in as user-12 - Private-1 viewing data belonging to user-1 - can edit name and description but not add tags, attachments or comments. Screenshot attached.

I would think both admin and owner should be Check (Cross) on the spreadsheet, in that the server permits it but not the UI.

Fixes for the underlying issue (#9635) have been pushed to https://github.com/openmicroscopy/openmicroscopy/pull/369 by Josh and Jean-Marie has already tested this thoroughly there. Assigning to Jean-Marie for any final updates that need to be made to the spreadsheets.

Bug is across the board, happens in all web browsers. Updates of other user's Projects and Datasets are allowed by the server. Either we have a bug in testing setup or this is a bug server side.
