Comment: I've been trying to to use OMERO's "Combine images" tool to create multi-channel overlays from single .tiff files. I've done it successfully a few times, but I can't seem to get any sort of consistent results. Ideally, I'd like to select my images (properly named using one of the Channel conventions), select the colors to match the channels, then enter in the channel names (DAPI, GFAP, Nestin, etc.). Right now when I try, it will combine the images, but all of the layers are red (or whatever I set the last channel color to be) and the channel label doesn't match the order of the files. For instance, I'll select 3 images, choose the script, choose the channel naming convention, set Z and T to none, enter in the three channel colors in order (blue, green, red), and then enter in the channel names in order (DAPI, GFAP, S100). The 3 images will combine, but they'll all be red, the channel labels will be in the right order, but the actual images will be S100, DAPI, GFAP. Example file names I've tried are below:
252639p3p DAPI 20x No1_C1.TIF
252639p3p DAPI 20x No1_C1.tiff
252639p3p DAPI 20x No1_C01.tiff
252639p3p DAPI 20x No1_C01
252639p3p_DAPI_20x_No1_C1
252639p3p_DAPI_20x_No1_C1.tiff
252639p3p_DAPI_20x_No1_C01
252639p3p_DAPI_20x_No1_C01.tiff
252639p3p_DAPI_20x_No1_w01
252639p3p_DAPI_20x_No1_w01.tiff
252639p3p_DAPI_20x_No1_w1.tiff
252639p3p_DAPI_20x_No1_w1
252639p3p DAPI 20x No1_w1

...and so on. I've tried pretty much every file name trick I can think might work. I've tried to find some difference between the files that worked and those that didn't, but have come up empty. I've scrutinized your tutorial page and video to find out if there was anything I forgot or missed. I can't figure it out. Please help me.

Thanks!
Annie
