Description
I had taken the following steps for the exception below to appear.
- Run update Fiji and restarted
- In the menu option I had chosen to install a new plugin
- Downloaded and installed the lastest imagej/Fiji plugin from the web site.
- Restarted Fiji (I had subsequently done it twice to make sure)
- Selected Plugins > OMERO > Connect to OMERO
- Note:I also had the option Import from OMERO although I did not use this as I was attempting to connect to the ome2-copy.fzk.de demo server.
If you need any further information please let me know.

Yes I was able to run 2 plugins. I was not sure what happened to the automated update in Fiji (I had seen that it had a bug recently). But when I first went to connect to the demo server version (4.4.4) I only had access to the old ImageJ plugin so I was not able to connect to the new version of OMERO. So I installed the new version manually which resulted in the option to choose between the two plugins.
- I have re-checked with a fresh install and completed the automated update and the new imagej plugin and it does work as expected.

Various threads on the imageJ list about issues with the fiji updater

- Milestone changed from Unscheduled to OMERO-4.5
- Resolution set to invalid
- Status changed from new to closed
Marking the ticket has invalid, problem related to the Fiji updater itself.
Scott: did you have 2 omero insight/ij in the plugins folder?
