Considering the new namespace involved, etc., the functioning of the OME-TIFF export logic implemented in PR 459 (along with the PR for dev_4_4 and the 2 PRs on scripts.git) need to be added to ome-documentation.git. (Alternatively, if the logic is hid behind the gateway in Java and Python, and possibly C++, then it may be just an implementation detail).

Seems like this should go into the Web User Guides story #11193.
Not sure that the priority is Critical?

I'm managing the story but Gus is dealing with the individual tasks, making a new set of web guides. Not sure they will be done for 4.4.9 though.

I don't think this change has any implications for the user documentation, but I will bear it in mind as I write the new web chapters.
This should be part of the Testing and Docs effort. Moving to Testing and Docs sprint
