E.g. slidebook/alex/seewaldendless_loop.sld

This appears to import OK (get thumbnails in import window) but I can't view thumbs in Insight, I can't open the Image in Insight ("Invalid Image") or web. Insight froze (> 300% cpu). Logs at squig/team/will/importTest-16thJan.log

I can view a single thumbnail at a time in web (E.g. webclient/render_thumbnail/size/96/752/) but when I try to render all (about 20) at once by browsing the dataset then this kills the webclient (needs restart).

This looks like the same thing as #10116, i.e. not necessarily an import issue. Can you please confirm that that's the case, and if so close this ticket and add a comment to #10116?

OK, It does seem that there's not an actual bug here - just various issues caused by slower calls. I'll add slidebook to the list for testing rendering performance.
