We had a discussion on what would be needed to support basic counting analysis. Scientist would like to be able to count the number of pixels over a particular intensity value - and ideally see individual intensity values on screen (right click on pixel to see intensity value, or have a dynamically updating numerical value s the mouse moves around the image) Also would be good to be able to see pixels over a certain value - e.g. highlighted in a different colour, as well as know how many there are. Currently she would have to use the ROI tool to manually count.
She explained that Softworx shows the intensity value for a given pixel on a given channel (move the mouse pointer around the image to select different pixels).
