https://github.com/openmicroscopy/bioformats/pull/1245 adds support for one of the two file formats in QA 7751 (.bin extension).
Private emails from Markus indicate that the other format contains FIFO data. This is a list of 'events' each with both a Real-time tag & a relative (to the excitation pulse) time tag. To generate a useful image this data needs to be binned into pixels. Typically, this requires input from the user on the appropriate degree of binning & also information about the scan system in use.
