Description
With the merge of https://github.com/openmicroscopy/openmicroscopy/pull/104 we will need to update all of our "getting started" documentation to include examples of the git commands to use:
- git submodule init
- git submodule update
- etc.

There are git hooks available to make working with submodules safer. See https://github.com/chaitanyagupta/gitutils/blob/master/submodule-hooks/post-merge-checkout for an example.
