OMERO.searcher mahotas dependent versions

Description
We already know OMERO.searcher only works with particularl versions of some dependencies, e.g. PySLIC==0.6.1, later versions won't work. Unfortunately this also extends to some other packages in some situations, for instance feature calculation for some (but not all) images currently fails with mahotas==0.99 and mahotas==0.9.7, but mahotas==0.9.4 seems to work (I haven't tested any other versions).
Unfortunately instead of returning an error pyslid.features.calculate ends up silently returning an array of the incorrect length, e.g.:
[fids,features,scalec]=pyslid.features.calculate(co.conn,im.getId(),0.1,'slf33',True,None,0,[0],0,0,debug=True)
fids should be an array of 161 feature names, features should be an array of 161 doubles. Instead it may be an array of length 149 with features[0]=NaN
