Description
Moved from http://www.ome-xml.org/ticket/95
Images should include have a spot to record image type: phase-contrast microscopy, PET, MRI, etc. It would be nice if BioFormats could fill this in automatically on converted images, as long as the file type accommodated that use. I suppose eventually it would be nice to expand schema support more completely for other kinds of imaging.

Add a top level broad category for type (like EM, MRI, Light)?
