Looking at this in light of other work to see how well multi-file nested image formats are handled.

As long as the correct target is picked up by getUsedFiles then nested formats look to be copied to the ManagedRepository correctly and imported correctly. Is there any outstanding issue with this ticket?

Multi-file nested image formats are supported through work done on other tickets as part of the the fs-lite import mechanism. If there is anything additional that needs doing related to this ticket then please re-open and comment.
0a972eb (HEAD, team/feature/909-Proposal2, feature/909-Proposal2) Initial crude attempt at nested structure.}}} contains some initial work on replicating a nested structure - only tested with cellr so far.
