Clean the Repository interface and implementation

Description
The Repository interface has become bloated but much of its functionality is no longer needed under fs-lite. In preparation for refactoring the Repository service more generally unused methods should be removed from the interface. The implementation and helper methods can also be removed from PublicRepository.

Initial changes made to clean up the interface and strip out methods and helpers.
Jean-Marie, if you want to fix Insight under this ticket and then assign it back to me I'll check and close then. Or if you prefer a secific Insight ticket just pass this one right back and cc me on the new ticket.
