- Possibly move to patch number snapshots in bioformats (maven-only)
- Move to "ome" as the groupId for bioformats (maven-only, develop-only)
- Possibly remove hard-coded version numbers from bioformats
- Decoupling version numbers (see Chris' comments below) (big issue) -- on hold for the moment; will be handled via #11232

As discussed with Chris, in doing this it probably makes sense to make it so that we could decouple version numbers of various components if we end up deciding to do that.
